2009年12月16日，九澧实验中学八年级二班举行了一场成功的英语演讲竞赛。这次活动旨在鼓励学生勇气，激发学生学习英语的兴趣和提高他们的口语表达能力。全班学生都积极参与并表现不错。其中周雨姗，熊希子，曾珂瑜，伍田子获得一等奖。通过这次活动，同学们体会到了说英语的乐趣，大家一致认为：我们是最棒的！

    On December 16, 2009, Class 2 Grade 8 of Jiuli Experimental Middle School held a successful English speech contest. The aim of it is to encourge the students to be courageous, to motivate their interest in learning English and to improve their oral English. All the students took an active part in it and did very well . Zhou Yushan , Xiong Xizi, Zeng Keyu and Wu Tianzi won the first prize. All the students had fun speaking English through the activity, and they thought:“We are the best !”
